1. Overview
Welcome to BaliESIM. By accessing or using our website and services, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. BaliESIM provides eSIM and physical SIM card products for tourists visiting Bali, Indonesia. Our services include online ordering, airport pickup, and hotel delivery.
2. Products & Services
- eSIMs: Digital SIM cards delivered via email with a QR code for activation. Compatible with eSIM-enabled devices only.
- Physical SIM Cards: Available for pickup at Ngurah Rai International Airport (DPS) arrival terminal or via hotel delivery.
- Data packages include the specified data allowance and validity period as listed at the time of purchase.
- All prices are displayed in Indonesian Rupiah (IDR). Other currency displays are approximate conversions for convenience only.
3. KYC Registration
In accordance with Indonesian Kominfo (Ministry of Communication and Information Technology) regulations, all SIM card purchases require identity verification (Know Your Customer / KYC). You must provide:
- A clear photo of your passport identification page
- Your device IMEI number
Failure to complete KYC verification may result in delayed SIM activation. BaliESIM reserves the right to reject orders with invalid or fraudulent identity documents.
4. Payments
- All payments are processed securely through Midtrans, a licensed Indonesian payment gateway.
- Final transaction amounts are processed in IDR (Indonesian Rupiah) regardless of the display currency selected.
- We accept VISA, Mastercard, JCB, AMEX, and various Indonesian e-wallets and bank transfers.
- Payment confirmation is sent via email upon successful transaction.
5. Activation & Validity
- eSIMs can be activated by scanning the QR code after payment and KYC completion. The validity period begins from the moment of first activation on a network in Indonesia.
- Physical SIMs are pre-activated upon pickup at the airport counter. The validity period begins from the pickup date.
- Unused data does not roll over or carry forward once the validity period expires.
6. Limitation of Liability
BaliESIM is not liable for network issues, coverage gaps, or service interruptions caused by third-party network operators (Telkomsel, Indosat Ooredoo, XL Axiata). Network speed and availability depend on location, device compatibility, and network conditions.
